I really like podcasts! They're one of my favourite forms of media, next to books, webcomics, and music.

Here are some of my favourite podcasts:

The Silt Verses: What can I say. It's got gods, it's got capitalism, it's got an aroace protagonist, it's got Dick Faulkner the Rat Bastard, it's got saints, it's got a (soon-to-be ex)cop with the most cop voice you have ever heard,it's got crabs. You should listen to it.

The Cryptonaturalist: Feels like a mix between hiking through the bush, trees rustling around you - sitting in a comfortable chair with a warm cup of tea and a book, as the wind and rain howls outside - lying on your back under a desert sky full of stars, feeling the warmth of the sand beneath you and the cool night air above, gazing at the incredible beauty of the universe. Good podcast. Very calming!

Hymns For The Road: A beautiful story about a group of survivors travelling through a magical post-apocalyptic USA, looking for the Somewhere Better. Really nice music!

woe.begone: A podcast about time travel, murder, and cowboys.

Monstrous Agonies: A late-night radio advice show for the liminal community of Britain and beyond. Sometimes I wish I lived in this world, especially after the episode about the pet mimic, and the one about languages. Especially the one about the languages. Very nice podcast.

Old Gods of Appalachia: A collection of stories from the Appalachian Mountains in a world somewhat darker than our own. Beautiful soundscaping, beautiful songs, beautiful stories. Plus, I get to learn more about Appalachia, something I did not know that much about prior to this podcast

The Amelia Project: A podcast about a company that fakes people's deaths. Very fun podcast, some of my favourite parts are quite heavy spoilers so I will abstain from mentioning them here.

Eeler's Choice: A podcast about eels! Has it's own sea shanties, which are beautifully composed and sung.

The Mistholme Museum of Mystery, Morbidity and Mortality: Audio tour guides of the eponymous museum, which has all manner of strange exhibits. Really neat podcast! Lots of individual stories, plus an overarching plot.

Shelterwood: A Suburban Gothic: A horrifying story about a girl who disappeared into a town that doesn't exist. I really love horrifying towns, especially ones that are connected to dreams, so I really like this podcast! It's also one of the scariest podcasts I have ever listened to - and a lot of the podcasts I listen to are horror, so that says a lot. Parts of this genuinely terrified me, especially some of the sound design.
